On Monday...

I have busy, busy Mondays. My Thursdays are similar. Here it is in photos!

Waiting for the second bus to work, since I now seem to miss the original single-trip bus I was taking before. It is approximately 8:04am.

Five classes at Aolin Kindergarten (focus on sports) where I sing songs and dance. The kids are great. Start at 8:45am and end at 11:15am.

My favorite naughty child, Garth. How cute is this kid?

Demonstrating coloring. I've got my teaching bag filled with goodies like graphics, snacks, water, my speaker and mp3 player.

What's your name?

School van. Back to Jazz headquarters around 11:30am.

Healthy lunch of tofu steak, cauliflower, green veggie and tomato soup. This lunch is actually abnormally good. We usually have flavorless clear soup with bean sprouts or something weird and then nasty brown-sauce turnip so I was excited today!

Teaching young'uns about the world in my World Ambassador class at the international primary school near-ish my house. Starts at 12:30pm with three classes ending at 2:40pm. These are third-graders, many of whom hold foreign passports. WHICH, I must add, is a huge thing for rich Chinese to fly to America/Hong Kong/Australia and get for their kids, but I'll blog about that later.

An Indian haibao (Expo mascot). This school is massively politically correct.

Oh geez.

I imagine I was like this talkative smarty when I was a child.

Eye exercise time! They rub pressure points for five minutes to a recording played over the intercom. Amazing.

My cityscape walk home.

Through the wall.

My old tiny tots now have a private class at another Jazz branch by my house. I stopped by home then headed over to teach them for forty minutes at 4:40pm.

The view from my floor when I slipped and fell on my way to tutoring.

I hit my tailbone but I think it's fine...

Got home around 10pm after tutoring David at his house by my old university. What a day!

love,
ellen
